Investor CRM

Relationship and campaign management for private investor networks.

Firms raise capital through relationships, but the record of those relationships is spread across inboxes, spreadsheets and decks. This platform holds the investor universe, connected email, campaigns, mandates, pipelines and meetings in one place, so doing the work and recording the work are the same act.

Sector

Private markets and investor relations

Built for

Fundraising, placement and IR teams

Scope

Web app, API, mailbox integrations

STATUS

Owned and operated by ErlyStage

Investor knowledge lives in too many places to be useful.

History sits in personal inboxes and leaves with the person. Target lists were accurate the day they were exported. Campaign tools keep their own copy of the data. Mandate progress gets reconstructed for the Monday meeting instead of maintained as the work happens.

One record per investor, and every workflow reads from it.

An investor is created once. The same record is filtered into a segment, added to a campaign, attached to a mandate, moved through a stage and invited to a roadshow without being entered again. Mailboxes connect directly, so replies and engagement write back to the record.

Seven areas, one system.

Each area answers a question the firm asks every week, and each one feeds the others.

Investor records

Profile detail, focus areas, notes, introduction source and full activity history, held by the firm rather than by an individual.

Connected email

Gmail and Outlook connect directly. Read, reply and compose inside the CRM, with search across sender, subject and unread state.

Campaigns

Targeted email built from saved segments, using approved templates and a named sender, with drafts, scheduling and campaign goals.

Segments

Reusable audiences built from role, geography, strategy, institution type, sector and the firm tags, previewed in full before saving.

Mandates

A workspace per raise with target, minimum commitment, timeline, an owner, a pipeline, stored materials and a progress view.

Roadshows

Trips planned by city and date against a mandate, candidates drawn from its pipeline, and every outcome recorded back.

Firm setup

Firm profile, regulatory detail, email policy, disclaimers, team invitations, role based access and a reviewable history.

From a name to a commitment.

Six steps, all of them writing to the same record.

01

Build the universe

Import from existing CSV and Excel files. Column mappings are proposed, duplicates are surfaced, and anything that could not be imported cleanly appears as a reviewable list.

02

Define the audience

Narrow the universe by region, institution type, strategy focus, sector and firm tags. Preview it member by member, then save it for reuse.

03

Run outreach

Campaigns go to a saved segment from a named sender, using a template from the library, tied to the mandate they support.

04

Keep follow ups moving

Sequences run on deliberate timing. Scheduled sends stay visible and editable, and the full history of what was sent and answered stays on the record.

05

Work the mandate

Attach investors individually or in bulk, move them through stages the firm names itself, and record meeting substance, ownership and next actions as it happens.

06

Read the position

Capital raised against target over time, whether pacing suits the close date, stage movement, meeting volume, and when the mandate was last genuinely active.

Assistance stays narrow.

It removes the blank page and the forgotten follow up. Every output is a draft in the editor the team already uses, and nothing reaches an investor without a person choosing to send it.

Replying to an investor

A suggested reply written from the context of the conversation, offered beside the editor to shape and send.

Building a template

A complete drafted template from a one sentence brief, refined into the firm voice and published for reuse.

Preparing a campaign

A first version of the campaign message, drawn from the audience and mandate it is aimed at, reviewed as a step in the build.

Chasing a thread

Follow up messages and reminders prepared from the thread they belong to, including reminders prompted by an investor reply.
